Hold your horses! Midnight intruder deterred by PSM’s instant response and resident’s horses!
PSM operators sprang to the rescue once again when a lone interloper was seen vaulting the fence onto the grounds of a converted farmstead in Cheshire, all whilst the residents slept soundly. Oddly enough, a number of stabled horses also reacted to the unwelcome presence and poked their heads out the moment he passed by.
Issuing audio warnings and tracking the intruder’s movements, our operators contacted the client, waking them from their sleep and informing them of the activity, and also provided the police with a description of the trespasser.
Perhaps sensing that he had no time to snoop around, the young man promptly climbed the fence onto the street at the perimeter of the property. As luck would have it, a police vehicle arrived mere moments later—no doubt on the lookout for a suspect matching the description that PSM so kindly provided!
To impart a brief reminder: incidents such as these are a prime example of why it is important to keep your monitoring system up-to-date and well-maintained. After all, not everyone has the additional benefit of curious horses acting as an added deterrent!
We issue audio warnings to intruders to warn them that they are on private property and must leave immediately. Audio challenges are successful in 95% of cases.
